Ed Rondthaler

Ed Rondthaler is, without question, the man. He founded Photo-Lettering, Inc (PLINC). He founded the International Typeface Corporation (ITC). He was the president of the American Literacy Council. He wrote the The Dictionary of Simplified American Spelling. He’s 102 years old.
The unstoppable House Industries purchased all the old Photo-Lettering films a few years back and while we all wait to see how they’ll update and distribute the mythical catalogue, they’re producing a documentary on Ed w/ Erich Weiss. The above↑ is a trailer of sorts.
